The Jefferson County Historical Society and the Episcopal Church Women’s Group proudly present a self-guided tour of six of early Evergreen’s mountain retreats. Join us on Saturday August 13, 2016 from 10 am to 4 pm to tour and learn the history of selected historic architectural treasures in and around Evergreen that have been beautifully restored. Docents will be available at each location on the tour to bring the history of the homes to life.
The tour begins at the Bell Tower at the Church of the Transfiguration, 27640 Hwy. 74, Evergreen, at 10 am, at which time tickets and maps for the tour will be available. The Episcopal Church Women will offer lunch in the historic St. Mark’s building on the campus of the Church of the Transfiguration from 11:30 to 1:30 on August 13th.
