Colorado’s Source Water Assessment & Protection Program was created by Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment under the mandate of the 1996 Safe Water Drinking Act Amendments. Indian Hills Water District will be developing a Source Water Protection Plan for our area to protect wells and ensure we all have safe drinking water. Avoiding costly treatment can help keep rates from increasing in the future.

We need community members to be a part of this committee. It will be a 4 – 6 month process and meetings will be held once a month. Our first meeting is 9/28 6:00 pm at the Indian Hills Community Center. Contact the office if you are interested in being on this committee.
