The featured local artists and the titles of their books include: Susan Quinlan “Birds of the Rocky Mountain Front Range: A Coloring Book for Aspiring Naturalists”; This book highlights 48 species of birds that live in the shrub-lands and forests of the neighborhoods, parks, and wildlands along the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. Beth Simmons “Colorow! A Colorado Photographic Chronicle”; Chief Colorow was born a Comanche and abducted as a boy by the Utes. Colorow was one of the last Ute chiefs with Ute followers of his own.
