Denver Mountain Parks - Then and Now
The Conifer Historical Society will feature the history of Denver Mountain Parks with an exhibit and programs from December through February. On Sunday, December 4th, Bart Berger will share the early history of the parks and the visionaries who planned the parks when auto travel was just beginning and Denver had more bicycles per capita than most cities in the country. Bart is the Founder and Chairman of the Denver Mountain Parks Foundation and the retired Board Chairman of History Colorado.
The program begins at 1:00 PM at the LIttle White Schoolhouse, 26951 Barkley Road in Conifer. Advance tickets are $8 for members and $10 for guests. Proceeds benefit the Little White Schoolhouse. Reserve and purchase your tickets at www.ConiferHistoricalSociety.org or call 303-396-5975.
A free, Denver Mountain Parks exhibit will be open from 10:00 - 2:00 on Saturdays and the first Tuesday of December, January, and February. Denver Mountain Parks are located along the Front Range, including Conifer.
