Fireside Arts and Music Presents "Vocal Technique" 

Led by Carly Howard 

You’ve got a budding singer in your family who is ready to take the next step and dig into the details!  Enroll your young vocalist in Vocal Technique and help them develop the skills necessary to start singing professionally and healthily.  Each class Carly will touch on a different topic like breathing, warming up, and projecting while also working with the class on harmony and solo performance through the preparation of a song for the final recital.   Open to grades 6-12.  Recital on March 16, 2017.

Carly relocated to the Denver area last year after performing and teaching in NYC for ten years, where she co-founded Sparrowtree Arts. A Colorado native, she holds degrees in Psychology and Elementary Education from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She is a singer/songwriter and actor, having performed off-Broadway with many childrens' theatre companies. In NYC, Carly was a teaching artist with Broadway Bound Kids, just named by Time Out New York Kids, to be one of the best after school programs in the city. She has thoroughly enjoyed teaching her original "Grow-a-Musical" programs in Denver and NYC in many public and private schools.

Fireside Arts and Music is an incorprated Non-Profit Organization in the State of Colorado. FAM's first learning facility will open in Conifer, CO in May of 2017.
