Drive Smart is celebrating the 21st Anniversary of Skate The Lake! Once you’ve experienced it, you’ll always remember how magical it is! Spend New Years Eve on Evergreen Lake, rated by CNN and Sunset Magazine as one of the worlds top 10 most beautiful outdoor ice skating rinks!

The event is from 6pm to midnight, with a fireworks display at 8pm and midnight to ring in the New Year.

Ice skate rentals are available from the Lake House for $7.00. It is highly encouraged you bring your own skates due to the limited availability. A sports helmet is also strongly encouraged.

Tickets are $20 ($1.50 online service fee, 8 and under free) until 2pm on December 31st, then $25 at the door. Tickets will be available at Boone Mountain Sports, Wulf Rec Center, Buchanan Rec Center, Wild Game, Da Kind Soup, Hearth Fire Books, Cactus Jacks, and Cornerstone Auto Glass  until 2pm December 31st.  Tickets purchased online will be available at Will Call the day of the event.  Please remember that there is a $5 off food or games coupon (on purchase of $20 or more) from Wild Game, our ticket sponsor, on the back of each ticket!

Skate the Lake Parking & Shuttle Information

THERE IS NO PARKING at the Evergreen Lake House or at Lake Point Center.  Access to Upper Bear Creek Road will be restricted to local traffic only. 

Parking and Shuttle stops are at The Wild Game, US Bank and Hiwan Homestead. Shuttles will run continuously from the following locations from 5:45 pm until immediately after the fireworks at midnight.

• The Wild Game  1204 Bergen Parkway
• U.S. Bank  2922 Evergreen Parkway
  
• Hiwan Homestead Museum  4208 Timbervale Dr
• Drop off at the Lake House will be restricted to individuals with a SPECIAL NEED OR DISABILITIES ONLY. Due to traffic concerns on Upper Bear Creek Rd., we ask that all other attendees proceed directly to one of the shuttle locations. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed.
