Learn more about our beautiful area!  The Civilian Conservation Corp had a camp in Morrison. With projects in every U.S. state and territory, “Roosevelt’s Tree Army” did so much more than plant trees!  

The premier CCC project in Colorado - and perhaps the nation - is Red Rocks Amphitheatre. 

Presenter Sally White will provide an overview of the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in Colorado, with a focus on the role of the CCC in developing Colorado's national and municipal park systems across the Front Range.

The program begins at 1:00 PM Sunday, January 8th.   Reservations suggested but not required.
