Come join us to celebrate the amazing donation of Staunton State Park by Frances Staunton!! Start at the Staunton Ranch Trail Head for  Educational and Historical Displays, then head out on a Treasure Hunt to find the Reynold’s Gang Gold! Your adventure will lead you to the Staunton Cabin District for more fun activities. Staunton Cabin will be alive with festivities and fun! Folks dressed in historic garb will greet visitors with cowboy music Log Hewing, Johnny Cakes and Lemonade, Programs on Medicinal Plants (To honor DRs. Archibald and Rachael Staunton) and Wildlife Displays as well as Kids Crafts! (35min hike). Enjoy demonstrations including a Mountain Man campsite, Trapping and Hunting; Games and crafts and Blacksmithing. If that’s not enough fun for you, continue your hike to the Elk Falls Trail, one of Frances’ favorite secret places!
