Course description: How did they do that? Let's examine an image of your favorite abstract. Are there techniques used that you'd like to learn? We will work individually from the image you bring and you will create your own painting inspired by this artist.
Please bring multiple canvases. Also, bring paintings in progress to discuss and/or work on.
Supplies: Oil or acrylic paint, different sized palette knives & brushes, paint palette, paper towels, mediums & textures of choice (pre-textured or mixed media prepared canvases are welcome). **Please let instructor know your choice of floor easel or table easel prior to class.
