The annual Jefferson County Master Gardener Gardening Symposium is moving to the Jeffco Administration & Courts Building (The Taj) this year and will take place on Saturday, Jan. 28 from 8:45 a.m. - 4 p.m. Event organizers are excited to have a comfortable new space with tiered seating and screens hung halfway up the room for better visibility.

Five million of the six million “new” gardeners last year were 18-34 year olds. With so many new people becoming interested in acquiring good, clean food, no wonder there is so much new interest. Come spend a day with the Jefferson County Master Gardeners learning how to do it right from the start. The six classes are designed to promote the best gardening practices to guarantee you the best success ever in your vegetable garden. There will also be a lunch and learn that emphasizes the best flowers and herbs to incorporate into your vegetable garden.
