I am happy to announce a free gardening class!

Mark Bellinghausen and I have been planning this over the past couple of months, and it has finally come together. I am not a master gardener, but have been gardening in Colorado since the early 80's and have been gardening in Conifer since 1988. Through this class I hope to share my experiences of vegetable gardening and hopefully get you off to a good start on your own garden adventure.

This class will be hosted at the church on Saturday, April 15th from 2 to 4 p.m. The class is geared toward beginning gardeners and people who have recently moved to our area who are new to gardening in our climate. However, anyone is welcome to attend. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP to Conifercommunitygarden@gmail.com.

For gardeners who rent a plot at the community garden we will also be hosting a series on hands-on workshops throughout the growing season. These will be great opportunities to get free gardening tips.
