Ages 8-13
Instructor: Susan Alexander
Course description: While mosaic art had its roots in ancient times, it has become a fun and popular art form today and is enjoyed by people of all ages! In this class, students will learn the basics of mosaics art such as important glass cutting techniques and typical mosaic laying patterns, as well as contemporary twists on older mosaic methods using colorful glass, ceramic tiles, pebbles, broken dishes, and more! Each student will complete and take home at least one finished piece.
