Fun, Funky and Functional: Hand Building Cups and Saucers
Monday June 26-Friday, June 30, 9:00am-noon
Ages 5-7
Instructor: Sunny Monaco
Course description: We will learn the history and importance of cups and saucers. We will explore several different hand building techniques, including slab, coil, pinch and slump mold techniques. Thinking outside of traditional cups and saucers these could be animal-shaped, buildings, cars, creatures, vegetable or fruit-shaped. Let your imagination soar as you design and create your functional cups and saucers.
