The Mountain Area Home and Garden Show (MAHGS) is an event created by the community for the community. This is a show where people from the Denver foothills can come and learn about all the quality businesses that service our mountain community. More than 2,000 attendees come to each MAHGS show to learn about over 100 different vendors. The MAHGS is a volunteer run event and all the proceeds go back into the community through the Evergreen and Conifer Rotary Foundations. Since its inception the MAHGS has given back over $152,000 to the mountain community.
Fees/Admission: Tickets are a $5.00 donation per adult and it is good for the whole weekend. Children and students 18 and younger are free. Bring 2 canned foods items for the Evergreen Christian Outreach (EChO) food pantry and get in FREE!
Saturday April 22nd: 9.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. and Sunday April 23rd: 10.00 a.m. - 3.00 p.m.
Proceeds from last year’s show were re-distributed to local area non-profits and charitable causes across the foothills. Last year was a record year with many local non-profits benefiting from the show’s success, such as Road Warriors (CDOT’s Adopt a Highway Program), RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) Mountain Reads (adult literacy), Mountain Backpacks (food for local families), Imagination Library (books for children), the seniors’ Thanksgiving Luncheon, Diversity Day at Evergreen High School and funding for college scholarships. These are just some of the local programs that the Evergreen and Conifer Rotary Clubs will be investing the funds they will receive from the proceeds of this year’s Mountain Area Home and Garden Show.
