*May 4th (Thursday), Cia will be joining us again for the Times Square Poncho Knit Along from 4-7pm.  For those of you knitting the poncho, Cia will be showing us how to add the sleeves--it is a little tricky.  It will be a potluck so bring something yummy to share!  The same day from 5-7 pm is Sock Club so if you aren't knitting the poncho, bring your sock yarn project and join us.  Sock Club is also a potluck.  There is no charge for either :)

 

*May 14th.  Happy Mother's Day!!!!  Since Mother's Day is Sunday and we are closed, if you come into the shop on Saturday, May 13th, you will receive 10% off any drink.  Tell us what you love about being a mother or about your own mother when you order!

 

*May 20th and/or May 21st Saturday and Sunday.  Calling all Spinners....Peggy Doney, the owner of The 100th Sheep is offering a spinning workshop called Slubbles, Bubbles and More!  If you are interested, there still might be a couple of seats.  Call the shop 303-838-2118 and let us know.

 

*May 29th.  Happy Memorial Day!  The shop will be closed.  This is not just a day to have a BBQ with friends, but it is a day to remember our dead.  It began after the Civil War as a remembrance for those who died serving their country and was called Decoration Day.  Somehow that has morphed into a day to decorate the graves of our deceased family members. It is a tradition that Doyle and I are honored to keep.  Please have a safe holiday!

 

*Mark your calendars for the Yarn Across the Rockies Yarn Crawl.  The dates are August 19th through August 27th.  The Knit Knook will be open all of those days from 7am to 5 pm including Sundays.  Stop in and sign up to win our shop basket.   The contest this year is Hats and more.  Call the shop for more information.  First and Second place winners receive a nice gift certificate :)
