Start your summer adventure season by joining COFA as you refresh or learn important outdoor skills!!

We will spend the morning discussing how to use a map and compass then the basics of GPS. After lunch we will go outside and practice these skills. Come prepared to learn in a classroom setting as well as walk in an open alpine environment. If you have a compass and/or GPS bring them to class. Maps and other tools will be provided.

Lunch will be provided. Please bring a donation of $15 to help cover the costs.

This is a family friendly event. However, due to the class room time and hiking in a wilderness environment, parents may wish to limit this to kids over 10 years of age.
