Job Fair for Colorado Mills Employees

The Colorado Mills Resource Fair & Hiring Event will be held at Denver Marriott West, 1717 Denver West Boulevard, Golden, CO 80401 on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE) and the Jefferson County American Job Center will be hosting a hiring and resource fair on June 7 for workers who have been out of work since the May 8 hailstorm closed the Colorado Mills Mall.

The event will be held at the Denver Marriott West, who is also co-sponsoring the event and participating as an employer with job openings.

At the hiring event, job seekers can talk with representatives from numerous companies and learn about and apply for available positions. Among the more than 20 participating employers will be Lakewood Colorado City Government, City of Golden, Colorado - Municipal Government, FirstBank, Natural Grocers, Target Store Denver-West, Sodexo, Sears, Ameristar Casino Resort Spa, Eliot Management, Walmart, Subway, Jefferson County Human Resources, HomeAdvisor, The Home Depot, Staples, Denver Lyft and Performance Driven Workforce.

Other resources available at the event include assistance filing for unemployment insurance, human services programs to help temporarily during unemployment, and information about employment and training programs available for people with disabilities. Representatives from Connect for Health Colorado will be available to discuss health insurance options, and staff from CUSO Financial Services can help job seekers review financial options.
