A Day with Bruce Marion--Abstract Figurative Workshop

In this fun and fast-paced acrylic painting class, you'll learn to simplify the human form down to its essence, to create a beautiful, abstract figurative painting filled with movement, gesture, and excitement expressed in a loose, contemporary style. You'll learn to move light through your painting, to create a sense of luminosity in the background to enhance and bring focus to your subject. This special class is taught by artist Bruce Marion, who's mastered "painting on the edge" between abstraction and realism, as seen in his highly sought after landscapes, cityscapes and figurative work.This is not a cookie cutter class; each student's work will be a unique piece of art that reflects his or her own creative style and vision. This is Bruce's only trip to Colorado to teach this year, so don't miss out on this wonderful opportunity to work with him.
