Denver Urban Gardens, in partnership with Slow Food Denver, is again working with Evergreen High School and Wilmot Elementary School. This program provides additional opportunities for learning at both the elementary and high school level. Denver Urban Gardens coordinates with multiple Colorado farms and will be supplying a large variety of supplemental fruits and vegetables, most of which are grown organically. We are excited to have many more organically grown vegetable options available from the community garden this year. Please stop by and say hi to the students, teachers, parents, and community members that make the youth farmer’s market and the community garden, a great place to learn and pick up some great fresh produce!
