The CMC Denver Group’s Wilderness First Aid School (WFA) is offering a 2 and 1/2 hour American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR and AED (automated external defibrillator) evening class at the AMC/CMC. The tuition is $20. There are limited spaces for this course. This class does not meet the requirements for Wilderness First Aid certification.
This course includes CPR in wilderness environments. The class also covers how to relieve choking victims. (Please note that this course does not qualify for the AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Professionals).
UPDATE: Classes have been added for Monday, September 19th, from 6:30pm – 9:00pm; and Wednesday, October 25, 2017.
There is a separate registration for Denver Group leaders, prospective leaders, and senior school instructors who have been approved to have their tuition covered by the SALT program. Click here for more information and to access the SALT application form. Approved SALT students will be given a special code and password to register for this course. (Tuition reimbursement is not available).
