Save the date for the 41st Annual SCRG Avalanche Seminar on January 6-7, 2018 in Summit County.
A two day Avalanche Rescue Seminar designed specifically for members of Search and Rescue groups will be held on January 6-7, 2018. The Colorado Avalanche Information Center, Colorado Search and Rescue Board, and the Summit County Rescue Group sponsor this seminar. The basic level will feature instructors from the Colorado Avalanche Information Center and SCRG. The advanced level will feature local guest speakers, CAIC forecasters, and others.
Cost: Basic & Advanced - $100 per person, includes all course materials and handouts. Coffee, refreshments, and lunch will be provided on Saturday.

Sunday will be outside all day at Freemont Pass. Please bring the gear required in the next section below and your own food and snacks as food will not be provided Sunday.

NOTE: Unfortunately, we do not have extra gear that we can loan. If you need to rent gear, Wilderness Sports in Dillon and Mountain Outfitters in Breckenridge both rent any avalanche gear that you may need.
