Course description: Did you buy a fancy new camera and realize you have no idea how it works? Learn how to get that thing off automatic! In this introductory class, we will begin by discussing what makes a great photograph. Learn the basic settings on most cameras, such as f-stop, shutter speed and ISO, and how you can use these to create your own masterpieces. Next, learn the basics about lenses. Which lenses are good for portraits? Which lenses are used for landscape or wildlife photography? Bring your camera and your camera manual so you can practice in class! Space is limited.
