On March 6th, 2018, Democrats and Republicans will be conducting separate precinct caucuses in Guffey. Without the proper knowledge, the caucus and the political process in Colorado can be very confusing.

The workshop will explain:

How precinct representatives are elected.
Learn how delegates and alternates are selected to their respective county assembly.
Learn how candidates for public office get their name on the primary ballot.
Learn how everyone who is registered to vote can have a role on who is elected for public office.

The workshop will not be discussing issues, public policies or candidates although some candidates may be present.

Everyone is welcome to attend and participate in the workshop. We especially extend a warm invitation to young people who are interested in learning how we choose our leaders for public office.

6:30 pm to 7:00 is social time and registration

7:00 pm to 8:30 pm is the workshop
