Course description: Find your artistic muse through watercolor. Discover how it is uncontrollable, fluid and alive. But don't be intimidated by this lovely medium. Cathy is known for her use of color, color theory and her unique approach to watercolor painting which is somewhat impressionistic with a southwestern flair. She will lead you through the process of putting together a watercolor painting from start to finish. This one day workshop will focus on painting spring and summer flowers. Some or all of the following watercolor techniques may be used: masking fluid, splatter, wet on wet, wet on dry, dry brush, glazing, light to dark, and beyond. All abilities and levels welcomed.
