Join us for a weekend in spectacular high country at three sites within 10 miles northwest and southwest of Fairplay. The headwaters of both North Tarryall Creek, Sheep Creek and Beavercreek have been impacted by illegal motorized activity which has damaged the alpine habitat and sent sediment into the watershed. After equipment preps the sites, volunteers will seed and mulch the area.

We'll be camping in a beautiful location with views across a meadow toward the continental divide. This is the first project in a series extending through 2019. MRHI is thrilled to be working with Wildlands Restoration Volunteers, Pike San Isabel National Forest, and Wild Connections.

To register, go to Wildlands Restoration Volunteers web page, click on volunteer, and register for South Park Alpine Restoration 1.
