The Director of the Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control (DFPC) will join Governor John W. Hickenlooper to share the state’s Wildfire Potential for 2018 and provide updates on the level of state preparedness. Additional updates will be provided by the Colorado Department of Public Safety U.S. Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management - Colorado and the Colorado State Forest Service.

The meeting for 2018 will take place at the Multi-Mission Aircraft hangar in Centennial and will feature aerial and ground displays as well as interviews with local, state and federal agencies.

The LIVE STREAM news conference will feature the Governor, CDPS Executive Director, and the DFPC Director. Make sure to tune in at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 13th to listen to these state leaders discuss the 2018 Fire outlook.
