Join the Friends of Dinosaur Ridge, May 25 through 27, 2018 for once-in-a-lifetime fossil fish dig trip! This trip will visit the Ancient Lake Fossils private, commercial quarry in the Green River Formation near Fossil Butte National Monument in Kemmerer, Wyoming. This is an exclusive opportunity--Ancient Lakes is a commercial quarry, and Dinosaur Ridge is the ONLY outside organization with permission to dig onsite. Participants will dig in an active split fish quarry and keep the fish they uncover! Van rides to and from Kemmerer will be with trip leaders who have spent years digging at the Ancient Lakes quarry. Leaders will regale you with stories of one-of-a-kind discoveries! The quarry owners have exposed premium layers within the quarry for our group to explore. For more details or to claim a spot on the trip, visit http://www.dinoridge.org/adult-field-trips.html.
