Join Naturalist Ann Sarg for a hike searching for wildflowers and plants. We'll discover if any of the flowers look like those in your garden or yard. You'll learn some cool things about are plants such as who eats them, did early inhabitants use them, could they be used for medicine and much more!

The Junior Naturalist Program was designed so families can spend time together as they discover the many wonders of Roxborough State Park. Utilize your artistic skills and gain knowledge of this outdoor wonderland. Kids can earn a Certificate of Completion or continue on for their official Junior Naturalist patch!

Meet at the Visitor Center. Parents must accompany the children for the entire program. The program is free. It costs $7 per vehicle to enter the park. Bikes and pets are not allowed at Roxborough.
