Gift of Life Breakfast on Thursday, April 26th to support the work of Second Wind Fund. This event raises visibility and funding for Second Wind Fund’s life-saving services. Donations are not required, but meaningful donations will be requested at the event. The First Lady of Colorado Robin Hickenlooper will be making remarks.
Suicide is the leading cause of death for Colorado children 10-14, and the second leading cause of death for Colorado children 15-19. Second Wind Fund provides therapy to children and teens at risk of suicide. When a child is deemed at risk of suicide and a financial or social barrier to treatment is present, Second Wind Fund pays for up to 12 sessions of therapy from one of our specialized network providers.
