Description:  A fun course, an amazing venue, and the best post-race meal ever!!! In 2014, Paul Karlsson and Dig Deep Sports took over management of this Colorado classic, started by Racing Underground. Paul is the founder and original race director of the Boulder Peak Triathlon, and currently organizes XTERRA Snow Mountain Ranch. Paul also grew up at the race venue, and the run course passes his boyhood home. Racing Underground will continue to be involved with the event, providing top-notch timing and coordinating the pool swim.

The Lookout Mountain Triathlon kicks off with a 525 yard pool swim at the amazing aquatic facility located within the Mount Vernon Country Club atop Lookout Mountain in Golden. The Racing Underground team are the masters in coordinating on-time, efficient pool swims!

Next, comes a challenging 10 mile bike course that features some good climbs and fast descents as you travel the well maintained paved roadways on top of Lookout Mountain. Following the ride, you'll complete a rolling 5K run on dirt roads, entirely within the Country Club property.

The Mount Vernon catering staff will be serving the most amazing post-race breakfast ever following the race. They will be set up in the expo area, serving you from a fantastic menu. This race is not to be missed, but enter early as we are strictly limited to 300 entrants. This race has sold out well before race day every year!
