The Beautiful Junk Sale is back Sept. 28 and 29. This mega thrift-store event is held at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. The sale lets shoppers rummage to find collectibles, home goods, furniture, and toys.

Admission is $5,  Friday, Sept. 28, 8:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. or Saturday, Sept. 29, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Shoppers wanting first dibs on items can pay $30 for an early-bird admission, which begins Friday at 7 a.m.  Cash only at the gate. Cash, most major credit cards, and checks accepted at the checkout line with the option to make an additional donation to support the charity. Specials throughout day.
