ROCK ON!  The South Park Site Stewards and the South Park National Heritage Area will proudly present our very own ‘Rock Star’ geologist Mr. Bob Hickey at the Fairplay Fair Barn, Saturday, August 25th at 1:00 pm.  Join us for an entertaining talk on local geology.  The presentation includes an exploration of the Rio Grand Rift, mountain building, the Mineral Belt and the Arkansas River.  Bob is a geologist with Colorado Parks and Wildlife with 40 years of enthusiastic experience.  This will be a FREE, under the grass roots presentation about our amazing landscape.
