Speak one-on-one with Denver College of Nursing students working with Professor Mary Pat DeWald, RN, APRN, MSN, to ask questions regarding any health issue that concerns you or your family. Denver College of Nursing students will review results, make recommendations and provide resources and additional information. Healthy refreshments will be served.

Self Care / Heart Health:
Stress Management screening including blood pressure, temperature and pulse oximetry
How to keep your heart healthy with breathing exercises, stretching and working out

Skin Care / Sun Protection:
Skin Screening, sun protection and how to apply sunscreen with the right SPF
What to look for in rough patches of skin and changes in moles

Mental Health / Depression:
Overview & Causes, Symptoms, Diagnosis, Treatment, Management, Finding Help

Nutrition Screening:
Diabetes Risk Assessment Education
Understanding Food Groups in relation to maintenance, growth, reproduction, health and disease including absorption, assimilation, biosynthesis, catabolism, and excretion.

Medication Review:
Bring in your medication to better understand what you have been prescribed and how it helps.
You will leave with a better understanding of what medications you’re taking and why.
