Andrew and Heather McWilliams, June McKenzie and Robin Black came together to form a steering committee to revive “Weekend in the West“—Evergreen‘s highly anticipated annual Art Show and Auction established in 2010 by Evergreen Fine Art Gallery. After gallery owners Phil Shanley and Barb Hadley retired in 2017, the tradition was revived of bringing together some of the top Western artists and collectors for a highly interactive event with Bootstraps Scholarship Fund as the beneficiary.
