Burland Firewise needs your help! Our next Saws & Slaws Mitigation project will be on October 27 & 28. We are a volunteer crew and we need your help please.
We are looking for EXPERIENCED SAWYERS willing to donate a couple hours or a full Saturday to clear some large trees near power lines and fences. Sunday will be a general labor force, stacking slash.

Our goal is to create defensible space which will lessen the adverse impacts when a wildfire occurs.

We need your help to fell trees, drag and stack slash along the roadside for chipping and firewood. If enough people show up the mitigation project we will be completed in two days. LUNCH, SNACKS and DRINKS will be provided. If you can’t physically help drag slash, consider helping at the sign-in/out booth, contribute food or drinks. Come VOLUNTEER an hour or two or spend the day with us. Get to know your neighbors. Every hour counts!
