A dark tale of witchcraft, suspicion, betrayal, and murderous intention.

The historical location of the Salem Witch Trials, the story takes shape after a young girl fall into a sleep and cannot be awakened after being discovered by her father (the reverend of the town) dancing with other girls of the town in what looks like a witch's ceremony.

The story takes another dark turn as a local farm, John Proctor, gets embroiled in a conflict with one of the girls, Abigail Williams as both John and Abigail hold secrets on the other that could spell their doom...

This classic piece of theatre not only tells us of a dark time in our past, but also reminds us of how relevant themes of suspicion and disconnect are, as this play was written in response to McCarthyism and the Red Scare During the Cold War.
