100 Holes of Golf is about having fun and raising money for your local nonprofit organization. Evergreen Rotary has slots for 18 nonprofit teams of 4/5 “golfers” and the team plays 10 golf balls over 10 holes. Each golfer does not play 100 holes. The team plays 100 holes, 10 balls per hole for 10 holes. Some teams actually golf using golf clubs. Other teams use whatever strikes their fancy (hockey sticks, bad mitten racquets, baseball bats, sling shots, etc). Pretty much everybody dresses in something fun and has a good time in what can only be described as a carnival-like atmosphere.
Registration starts at 7:30 AM, shotgun start at 8:00 AM, and we end with a lunch banquet for all who participate. With our assistance you should be able to raise at least $5,000 for your nonprofit. Event expenses are capped at 7%, so a minimum of 93% of what you raise goes to your charity. This is a great opportunity to meet and network with other nonprofits. The event is open to any organization that qualifies as a tax-deductible 501(c)(3).
