Friends, Easter isn't just what we might think of as a "holiday"--where we get dressed up, have a family meal, exchange gifts, or take off of work. Easter is the singular Revolution of the Human Experience. In it, death wasn't just put on notice, it was buried. And what came out of that tomb was Jesus offering a new kind of life, true meaning, as well as Heaven's community. Now, Jesus' Resurrection wasn't just a Christian legend, but is a point of human fact--proven not only by the hundreds who witnessed it, but also by the historians who couldn't deny its bold truth. Truthfully, the fact of the Resurrection is also "proven"--even today--in real people. This Easter at Ascent Church, all of this will be showcased and celebrated, so we hope that not only you'll come along for this experience, but bring everyone you love along with you! Come for the "Proof" at either of our two celebrations on Sunday, April 21 (9:00a & 10:30a). Children's ministries (birth-5th grade) and delicious refreshments will be available at both services.
