The Golden Civic Foundation is proud to announce that the 3rd Annual Golden Summer Jam will be held on Thursday, June 27th at the Colorado Railroad Museum from 5:30 – 9:30 p.m. and features live music, food and fun for all ages.

The goal of this summertime event is to connect with Golden families and residents, promote community involvement and celebrate Golden’s small town, friendly atmosphere.

The evening will feature live music by three bands with Golden connections including Dorado, Bowregard and The Great Salmon Famine, and the chance to explore the Museum’s scenic,15-acre railyard that is home to more than 100 locomotives, passenger cars and cabooses. Guests can enjoy a ride on the Galloping Goose Railway and also delight in the charm of a fully operational miniature garden railway. Food and beverage will be sold by New Terrain Brewing Co. (beer), Ace Liquor (wine), Bob’s Atomic Burgers, and the Crock Spot and Mooontime Crepes food trucks. Local non-profit organizations will also be on-site with family-oriented, interactive activities. Tickets are $20 per adult and include one complimentary New Terrain beer. Youth age 18 and under are free.

Tickets to the Golden Summer Jam are $20 for adults and free for youth under 18. Each adult ticket includes one complimentary New Terrain beer.

Limited table seating will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring their own blankets and low-profile, festival chairs to spread out on lawn areas. Guests are welcome to bring their own water bottles. Due to our special event permit, please do not bring outside beverages and/or alcohol. Sorry, no pets are allowed at the venue.
