Please join us for a very informative two hour presentation by Mark Afman on Saturday July 20, 2019 beginning at 12 noon.

The staff of the Idaho Springs Visitor Center and Forest Service have graciously opened their doors to us and we will be using the upstairs meeting room. In addition to Camp Fire Girls, their family and friends, area residents and neighbors will be welcomed to join us.
Linner (aka lunch and dinner) will be held at Beau Jo's beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Interested in car pooling up Soda Creek Road to look at the former site of Camp Wilaha? Two sessions have been set up:

1) The blue bird/early bird group will meet wrangler Pete (aka Yvonne P) and counselor Beethoven (aka Ralph P) at 9:00 a.m. in the Visitor Center parking lot to car pool up to the camp location. Bring water and snack items to share with other campers and counselors. Please be back by 11:30 so you get a good seat for Mr. Afman's presentation at 12 noon

2) After Mr. Afman's presentation ends at 2:00 p.m., join camp counselor Kashu (aka Robin B.) and counselor M&M (aka Cathie D.) to car pool up Soda Creek Road. Bring bottled water for the campers and other counselors. Please keep an eye on the clock as you are expected at Beau Jo's at 4:00 p.m. where camp chaplain Kitch (aka Kitch S.) will welcome you along with family/friends/neighbors for a delicious fun time!

Please note: a suggested donation of $ 20.00 per attendee would be welcomed. $10.00 will go to the Idaho Springs Visitor's Center for their hospitality over the years and $10.00 will go to Mr. Afman for graciously sharing his photos and knowledge of Colorado. Please make the cash payment to the CFG reunion concierge (aka CoCo Taggart) when you arrive in Idaho Springs.
