Please join us we celebrate Guffey School's 100th Birthday and Reunion!

This party will be a fish fry picnic theme. We will be frying catfish and we ask that our guests bring a favorite side dish or fixings to make fish sandwiches. Some items you could bring would be coleslaw, salads, a vegetarian and/or vegan option, beans, potato rolls, kaiser rolls, tartar sauce, lettuce, tomato, chips, hushpuppies, pickles, corn on the cob...the possibilities are endless!

School staff will be providing sparkling cherry limeade and desserts.

If you have any outdoor/lawn games to bring that would be fun too - corn hole, frisbee, horse shoe, croquet, badminton, ring toss....

There will also be a fundraising portion to this event if you'd like to participate. We plan to assemble a commemorative collage of tiles in the school over the summer. To help us with this project you can purchase a tile (or tiles) to paint however you would like. You can do a pretty design, or make a tile in memory of someone, or make a tile to honor a school donor, volunteer or staff member. We will have a few different levels at which you can donate and buy a tile for our commemorative wall. We will have all of the supplies for you to design your own tile/s.

The party will be on Friday 5/31 from 12:30pm - 2:30pm.
