Winterfest is a one-day community festival of handmade gifts and more held indoors on “Main Street” of the Evergreen High School. Winterfest has an excellent reputation as one of the best indoor holiday shows in the Denver area with a fabulous selection of gallery quality fine art, as well as unique crafts, for the holidays. Performances by the Evergreen Chorale and Evergreen Children’s Chorale add to the festival spirit, and Santa’s Workshop keeps the younger crowd busy with holiday craft activities while parents shop.
CAE does extensive marketing to promote attendance at Winterfest including announcements on Rocky Mountain PBS and radio station KUVO Jazz, newspaper ads, social media marketing, sending out over two thousand postcards to area residents, placing posters and banners all over town.
Winterfest is hosted by the Center for the Arts Evergreen, a nonprofit organization whose mission is “To promote and cultivate artistic excellence in the visual and performing arts in order to enrich the art experience in our mountain community.” Proceeds from Winterfest go to support arts programming year-round.
