Join a Native Plant Master from Evergreen Audubon at our late-summer plant walk.  We will be meeting at the parking lot of Elk Meadow Park.  We will look for late summer wildflower blooms and explore our local foothills ecosystem.  The walk may include looking at native and non-native plants, lightly cover plant identification, uses for native plants and discuss relationships between plants, insects, birds and wildlife.

Previous botany knowledge is NOT required, only an interest in plants, trees and wildflowers.  Please bring proper walking shoes, weather appropriate clothing and a water bottle.  This walk is recommended for adults, but children with an interest in botany are welcome with an adult.

These walks are for Evergreen Audubon members and their guests. Non-members won’t be turned away but will be encouraged to join Evergreen Audubon. You must register here to attend this event. If you are registering for more than one person, please enter each person separately. This event is filled when we have 15 registrants. Meet at the Stagecoach Trailhead (across from the dog park).

For any questions regarding our summer plant walks, please contact Nature Center Director Dina Baker at 303-330-0489 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
