Joy's Kitchen brings us overstock food from local stores and the food bank. We are open 11:30am-12:30pm every other Saturday! Go to the west door! There are no qualifications to get food, and we help keep good food out of the dump!
Meet Kathy (Our Founder)
Kathy’s life was forever changed when her mother Joyce Ward lost her battle with pancreatic cancer in 2012. In giving her life to the greater good, she stepped into faith and purpose and Joy’s Kitchen was born.
With the love and help of community support, leadership and 100 volunteers a week, Joy’s is now seeing 1000 families pass through to be fed a month. With a focus on education on food waste we hope to change the way hunger is faced on local levels.
We are inspiring communities to gather, eat and love each other in tangible ways everyday. Come meet us and become part of the family!
