Fire Adapted Bailey, the Seniors Alliance and Platte Canyon Fire Protection District will host a Senior Evacuation Workshop on Saturday, October 26 at Platte Canyon Fire, 153 Delwood Dr, Bailey from 1:00-3:00.
85 people died in the November 2018 Paradise California Camp Fire.
62 of the victims were 65+ years old.
Older residents may need more time to evacuate, may depend on others for transportation or health care, and may not be connected to electronic warning systems.
