This week we will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day by proclaiming our Native Plant Week here in Evergreen!  A Native Plant is a plant that is a part of the balance of nature that has developed over hundreds or thousands of years in a particular region or ecosystem. This week let’s celebrate the importance of Native Plants in our mountain community and habitat by planting native plants for pollinators, birds, and other wildlife.
