Join Naturalists Sally Anderson, Alex Stockon, and Paula Scirati to learn principles of hiking awareness and techniques to "Know Before You Go", through fun activities and a hike! Ages 7-12

Become a Junior Naturlaist! Famlies can spend time together as they discover the many wonders of Roxborugh State Park. Gain knowledge of nature in this outdoor wonderland. Kids can earn a certificate of completion or continue on for their officiial Naturalist Patch!

Two Naturalist led hikes are required for the patch. Geared for ages 7-12.

All vehicles need a pass to enter the park. Daily fee is $8. Please plan on coming early on the weekends. We usually go to capacity around 9:30 a.m. and there could be up to a 45 minute wait. Please leave your pets and bikes at home, they are not permitted in the park.

If you cannot make it please be considerate and cancel so that others may sign up. Registration via Eventbrite required.
