Our shared love of public lands is one of the greatest things we all have in common. Whether a climber or an angler, rancher or skier we all agree that Colorado is better with wild places to explore. Join us during Outdoor Retailer for a beer and a night of storytelling focused on shared experiences in some of Colorado's wildest landscapes that we have the opportunity to protect right now through the CORE Act, a bill that would help protect 400,000 acres of public land in Colorado. We will be featuring storytellers who enjoy Colorado’s wild places in different ways including an angler, a photographer, an adaptive athlete, a rancher, and a policymaker. Come join us, celebrate our common values and our common ground! We will also be sharing simple ways for you to get engaged on the CORE Act to make your voice heard. The event is free to attend, with complimentary food & beer provided.
Storytellers include:
Eeland Stribling – the evening's MC, Eeland is a wildlife biologist & comedian by profession who's also an accomplished angler
Matt Alberts – photographer specializing in wet plate collodion "tintype" photography, capturing images of athletes and others passionate about their craft
Quinn Brett – professional athlete moving in a new way following a spinal cord injury, public lands and differently-abled accessibility advocate
Molly Fales – Colorado multi-generational rancher
