The memorial service for West Metro Fire Rescue Firefighter/Paramedic Dan Moran will be held on Monday, February 17th at 1:00 pm at Red Rocks Church, 7100 Wadsworth Blvd. in Arvada. Dan's passing is a Line of Duty Death, from job-related cancer.

The memorial is open to the public and personnel from public safety agencies are invited to attend. The apparatus procession will be limited to immediate family and West Metro Fire Rescue assigned apparatus. The apparatus procession will begin at West Metro Fire Rescue Station 13 located at 12613 Indore Place, Lakewood.

The procession on Monday will take the following route:
• Procession departs Fire Station 13 – 11:00
• Westbound Ken Caryl to C-470
• Westbound C-470 to I-70
• Eastbound I-70 to Ward Rd (44th Av.) exit
• Westbound 44th Ave to Ward Rd
• Northbound Ward Rd to 72nd Av (An arched flag display will be provided by Arvada Fire and Golden Fire at 54th Dr. and Ward Rd.)
• Eastbound 72nd Av to Church Lot – 7100 Wadsworth Blvd, Arvada, CO (A flag will be displayed from Tower 8 at the church entrance)
• Approximate Arrival of Motorcade at Red Rocks Church – 11:45 am

Citizens and agency apparatus and personnel are welcome to pay their respects along the procession route. Parking for apparatus will be available at the church.

West Metro Fire badges will continue to be shrouded and all West Metro facilities shall fly flags at half-staff until sunset on Tuesday, February 18th.
