Join us this season on our four part Native Plant Ecology Walks where we will be exploring and discovering native plants and wildlife throughout the Bear Creek Watershed. Our focus will be on Native Plants, but we will also be looking at each unique habitat and stopping to observe birds and any wildlife along the way.

We will be starting our season at our lower elevation at the Riparian Habitat of Lair O’ the Bear and working our way to a higher elevation with each walk. Our next walk will be exploring the native plants and ecology of our montane ecosystem at Elk Meadow, then the subalpine at Echo Lake ending with our alpine habitat at Summit Lake in mid-August. All levels of naturalists are welcome from beginners to experts as well all have something to offer and so much to learn! This program is ideal for adults and older children.

Please bring proper walking shoes, weather appropriate clothes, water and your deep interest in nature! Sign up for one walk, or all four! Walk will be limited to 15 participants. Discount given if registering for all four walks at once.
